Teaching Philosophy

Watercolor without overthinking.

Many adults believe watercolor is difficult or intimidating. My goal is to create a
welcoming environment where students can relax, experiment, and enjoy the
process - while building confidence through simple, repeatable techniques.

Workshops are paced so beginners never feel left behind. We focus on enjoyment
over perfection, and on small wins that compound: one good wash, one confident brushstroke, one finished painting at a time.

The result is a room of adults who started the morning unsure, and end it surprised at what they made.
